April First is April Fools
StuntListing launched a fake "virtual stunt school" that advertised it could make performers "virtually hireable" and some of you fell for the joke. Around 800 others joined in and spent a total of roughly 100 hours playing the four stunt video games that we made for you all. Games included: High falls, Stair falls, Fire burns & Coordinating: https://www.stuntlisting.com/arcade

International News

The Saffa Stunt Awards returns for its second year on May 9, 2026, celebrating excellence across categories like Best Fight Choreography, Best Stunt Coordinator, Best Rigging, and Hardest Hit. Akin to the Taurus awards, it's an event honoring the remarkable talent, commitment, and craft of stunt performers and action crews across South Africa.
Stair Falls — For Fun
For some stunt performers, there is no off switch. Watch as Hong Kong stunt man Paco Yick masterfully falls down 75+ stairs — at 65 years old.

Coordinator Corner: Jared Burke
A look back to the beginning…

We asked Jared, “What was your first big success in stunts?” Here’s what he had to say:
I was lucky enough to join an acrobatic company filled with performers who would soon become elite stuntmen and, eventually, stunt coordinators. The troupe included Aaron, Caroline, and Luke Vexler, Shane Geraghty, Mark Fichera, and Mam Smith. We all helped each other break in.
When I started, there were no databases—only Wally’s book, Stunt Players Directory, and you had to be in SAG and have credits to get into the book. There were stunt services like Bill’s and Missy’s, but those were based in LA. In New York, you had to hustle the old-fashioned way: tracking down coordinators’ emails, home addresses, and phone numbers. Through the people I mentioned above, I was able to build a list and start my first real rounds of hustling—mailing and emailing headshots, cold-calling coordinators. Texting wasn’t really an accepted form of communication yet….
Best of: Action Trailers

The Furious (2025) — Stunt coordinator-turned-director Kenji Tanigaki delivers a martial arts epic starring Joe Taslim and Xie Miao, following a father tearing through an international crime syndicate to rescue his kidnapped daughter.
Apex (2026) — Charlize Theron fights for survival in the Australian wilderness when a solo climbing trip turns into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse with a crossbow-wielding serial killer played by Taron Egerton.
