Everything Stunt Performers Should Do ASAP On StuntListing!

A lot's happened over the past few years. From COVID wreaking havoc on the world to the historic WGA / SAG-AFTRA strikes shutting down the entertainment industry. If you've been a stunt performer all that time, you've had a lot of time to refine your current skills and even learn some new ones.

Now that the strike is finally over, check out the list of things to do below to get the most out of your StuntListing profile (and your new skills!):

  1. Add all your skills and be sure to include descriptions - skills without descriptions won't appear on your profile.
  2. Add your contract info so Coordinators don't have to ask for it (make their job easier!)
  3. Add more headshots - coordinators can now choose which headshot to use when submitting you. If you have a Premium membership, make sure you have a headshot, full body shot and an action shot at the very least.
  4. Add an about me - this will appear in Google searches as well.
  5. Add skill reels - you’ll appear first in searches!
  6. Familiarize yourself with the Performer Dashboard.
  7. Add all your sizes - some options are new and others were removed.
  8. Rate your skills! Profiles with unrated skills appear at the bottom of search results.
  9. Organize your skills! Put them in the order that makes the most sense to show you off!
  10. Add your social media links - this helps coordinators get a clearer sense of you and your skills.
  11. Update your email signature line with your customized URL (Plus and Standard members only)
  12. Add labels to your headshots - labels are soon to be searchable by coordinators!
  13. Add all the actors you’ve doubled - these ARE searchable!
  14. Add a note for wardrobe (so your clothes will fit you better)!
  15. Check your profile percentage. The closer you are to 100%, the easier it is for coordinators to find and hire you.

There are lots more that can be done when it comes to your online presence. If you're not sure how to make your own profile better, take a look at some other profiles to see what you may be missing.

If you're serious about your career in stunts, the list above is just a few things that should (already) be done when it comes to your StuntListing.com profile. Don't wait for the opportunity to pass you by - update your profile ASAP to increase your visibility and chances of being hired!
